Prick by Laurie Flanigan Hegge, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and received rave reviews and went on to perform at Drayton Arms Theatre in London. Inspired by the Witches of Scotland campaign to remember the accused who were victims of the terrible miscarriage of justice of the Scottish Witch Hunts. 84% of whom were women. Not only was this production a success, but it made a difference in the historical community. The real Marioun Twedy, who was accused of witch craft now has her own Wikipedia page, (shown above), which was added by the historians at the University of Edinburgh working on the survey of Scottish witch craft after they attended the production of Prick at the 2023, Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
