I was born and raised in Green Bay, WI. I was very fortunate to have grown up in an environment where my parents encouraged participation and exposed me to the arts. To me theatre is the ultimate art form, it combines literature, art, music and dance into one. If I hadn't grown up in a house that was filled with books, music, and that allowed me to be creative, then I wouldn't be half the artist I am today.
I went on to pursue my dream at UW-Parkside in Kenosha, WI, where I obtained my B.A. in Theatre Arts.
I currently reside in the Twin Cities, MN, where I am the artistic director of Persistent Theatre Productions and I work as a freelance director, playwright, teaching artist, and dialect coach. I've worked with, The History Theatre, Theatre Unbound, Northern Starz Children's Theatre, Gadfly Theatre Productions, Workhaus Collective, Pillsbury House Theatre, Theatre Pro Rata and The Phoenix Theater, Arst Nest. My favorite plays to direct are ones that have a direct impact on the community and that help to create change.
